Lets have an honest chat here for a few minutes. Now before I get started, some might be offended by what I say, so if you're a "snowflake", please click away from this post. Now for the nitty and gritty. Baby its cold outside. Yes that's right, were going to talk about the ridiculous situation going on right now with the whole Christmas song dilemma. My personal opinion? (cause that's what you're here for anyway), its completely and utterly ridiculous. I mean how long has that song been around? And now all of a sudden, because some whiny little millennial thinks its about rape and stupid shit like that, we have to pull it off air and not listen to it? I mean what has this world come to? I get it, all right, I'm all about freedom of speech and believing in whatever you want to, I mean that's what being American is all about, but to try and get the song completely taken off air because that's what you want? Now that's where I draw the line. I've always believed that you can believe in whatever you want to as long as you don't push your beliefs on me or anyone else that doesn't agree with what you say. I mean to be apart of this world anymore is shameful. The things we say to each other and the things we try to push others into is just insane. You believe in what you want to believe in and ill believe in what I want to believe in. Its as simple as that. That's what our founding fathers wanted and that's the way it was for awhile, and then all of a sudden, outta the blue, we went to the shitter. Real fucking quick. It scares the hell out of me that my child has to grow up in this world. I'm truly terrified for when the time comes to send Levi to school. What are his teachers going to try and brain wash him with? And more importantly, what if some child wants to bring a weapon to his school? Now hold on, I know what you're thinking, "oh he's anti gun, he wants to take guns away, guns are bad." NO. Not in the slightest. I'm a proud gun owner myself, hell, I even have a shotgun tattooed on my forearm. Guns aren't bad, its the person handling the firearm that's bad. So lets get that straight. My concern is that some non parented child will think its a good idea to bring a weapon to class just like the bad men he sees on the news, that he'll see it as a way to get famous real quick. Just like previous gunmen have. I'm going off on like three different rants right now and I apologize for that, its just the way my mind works. Yeah, my mind is a scary place, lol. So anyway, how about we all gather around acampfire and forget about the things we disagree on and just be brothers and sisters like it was meant to be? HA! Who am I kidding? That cant happen, fire melts snowflakes. Thanks for listening. (photo taken from google images)
