Being a Father in the modern day

Okay lets have a chat, cause apparently its an abomination for a father to be out with his 8 month old son without his mother in this day and age. I swear to god every time me and Levi go out on our own(which is a lot cause I like to spend time with my son), I get nothing but strange looks from older people and younger people the same. Someone even had the nerve to comment once and say "its strange to see a father out with the baby without the mother." Like, okay Karen, with your, I need to see the manager haircut and strong independent woman who don't need no man attitude, lemme tell you something, I'm not some low life who doesn't spend time with his kids or depends solely on the mother of the child to do all the work. I like to be out with my son, I like to spend as much time as I can with him, cause these moments when hes little and cute aren't going to be here forever. And, one day when he's older, he'll look back and say, boy my dad really did love being with me. And then he'll be able to tell all his friends and be the luckiest boy in the world to have such a loving family. I don't know, it just chaps my balls that fathers who actually show their face in public with their kids get looked at and questioned cause its not normal in some peoples eyes and that unfortunate for them, but that's reality to me. Get used to it. End stupid rant.
