Oi!

Okay so here we are, the very first official blog post. Not some intro to my page or anything like that, this is a real blog. Or at least my attempt. The reason I started this whole thing is because I'm off for the winter time and needed something to do besides game, plus I really wanted to type more on my fancy dancy new mechanical keyboard (yep I'm that much of a loser). So here I am, sitting behind my desk in the kitchen, thinking about what I can type and post about all before Levi wakes up from his afternoon nap. Truly I have no idea. I guess I can start with talking about how much I enjoy fatherhood. Short answer: I love it.

Long answer: I absolutely love it...…. lol. Seriously though, being a father is the best thing to ever happen to me. Ill never forget the first day I met my son, after all the things he put his mother through, and all the worrying I did, and the disbelief that I was actually going to be a father, after all the things that were wrong in my life, I saw that little boy for the first time and its like everything disappeared. He is truly an angel and a huge blessing for me, my wife and all of our families combined. Everything I work for and everything I do is for that little 15 pound bundle of poop, puke, milk, and smiles. There's never a time where I look at that kid and don't feel a sense of joy and happiness. He makes me smile every time. Seriously, I cant express enough how I love being a dad. So if youre every worried about becoming a father or think youre not gonna be a good enough dad like I did, then just stop and think about it, think about taking him fishing the first time, think about playing video games with him, just think about all the amazing things you and that child of yours are going to do together and get happy. Because theres not better feeling in this world than being a dad.
